Jared Perez-DeBusk was born in Brooksville, a small town in Florida. He is profoundly Deaf and uses American Sign Language to communicate. Jared graduated from the University of South Florida with a BA in Communication Performance Studies and went to graduate school for an MA in Sign Language Education at Gallaudet University. Although deciding to leave the Sunshine State for a life in Los Angeles, Jared kept pursuing a career in teaching and is currently employed as an American Sign Language Instructor in Los Angeles County.
