The Elephant Game by Jason E. Zinza and Kim Brown Kurz
This book is appropriate for both Heritage and World Language students. For example, some Deaf children doesn’t have language at home to communicate with their parents. This will be good practice for them. The Elephant Game is also great for World Language high school and college students since it highlights the importance of interaction in Deaf culture and community. The students will have many different activities to choose from and will learn how to use classifier, idioms etc.
